CIVITAS Urban Freight Conference
UTURN project participated in the CIVITAS Urban Freight Conference, on the 23rd and 24th of April in Brussels. The Urban Freight Conference is an interactive event including presentations, posters and exhibitions, breakout and training sessions, workshops and awards.
Participants had the chance to discuss new cooperation models for engaging and supporting public and private actors, the future of urban logistics, as well as specific topics as stakeholder cooperation, policy and regulation, planning for freight, technology, data collection and management.

Winter Simulation Conference 2016, Washington DC
The Winter Simulation Conference (WSC) is the premier international forum for disseminating recent advances in the field of system simulation. In addition to a technical program of unsurpassed scope and quality, WSC provides the central meeting place for simulation practitioners, researchers, and vendors working in all disciplines in industry, service, government, military and academic sectors.
WSC 2016 will be held in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. at the Crystal Gateway Marriott on December 11-14, 2016.

Civitas Forum in Gdynia, Poland (2016)

Main targets of the EWGT concern providing a forum to share informations and experiences of research activities, encouraging joint research and the development both of theoretical methods and applications, promoting the cooperation among different institutions and organisations, leaders at national level in the field of traffic, transportation and logistic systems.
Primary field of interest concerns OR methods, mathematical models and computation algorithms to solve and support the solution of problems faced by public administrations, city authorities, public transport companies, service providers, logistic operators and so on.

Logi.C 16 LOGISTICS CONFERECES in Greece
During the conference on the 19-20th May 2016 in Greece, U-TURN was presented to the audience.
Multiple panel discussions were held, including one on urban freight distribution organised by OPTILOG Advisory Services, with logistics clusters and how they are operated within Europe, new initiatives and how to upgrade current solutions discussed.
