Management has been part of Cranfield University since the 1950s. The University was founded on an old RAF site as the first postgraduate college of aeronautics. The School of Management grew out of industrial need for management training and was formerly established in 1967 (although the Cranfield MBA dates back to 1964). Cranfield School of Management is also one of an elite group of School’s worldwide to hold the triple accreditation of: AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AMBA (the Association of MBAs).

Role in the project |
Cranfield School of Management will lead WP5 capitalising on its vast experience on managing relevant logistics and transport research projects. It will also lead various tasks in various work packages (e.g. Task 1.3 – KPIs Identification & Platform Specifications, Task 5.3 – Overall Assessment). Finally, Cranfield will act as the project's Scientific and Technical coordinator, leading Task 7.2.
